Sunday, 5th March 2017 - Sunday, 3rd December 2017Travel through Brisbane on a historic steam train and relive the splendour of a bygone era, passing through city stations on your journey aboard vintage carriages. Passengers are free to move between carriages, take in the sights from the charming carriage balconies, wave to onlookers and relax with the gentle sway of the steam train. Trips are approximately one hour and depart and return to Roma Street station. The trips are enjoyed by adults and children alike.

In this Ipswich first, these large specimens have been pulled out of the Queensland Museum vaults so we can learn more about them. Today they speak on behalf of their living relatives, teaching us about wildlife diversity around the world, and invite us to think about animal habitat protection and conservation. The exhibition features a lion, tiger, jaguar, cheetah, polar bear, brown bear, black bear, moose, buffalo, deer and antelope. Included with Museum entry.
